2's Class with my Mara girl

I love, love, love the 2's class at Northpoint Co-Op.

I loved it with Kennedy and this past year, I enjoyed it just as much with Mara.

I love the cute classroom, the wonderful teacher, and the fabulous moms I have met and now call friends.

But mostly, I love the time I have gotten with each of the girls in their very first classroom.

I look back at photos of Kennedy in her 2's class and she was so LITTLE.

I cherish those photos and I know I will cherish these ones just as much of my little Mara.

 

Jen and Joey get HITCHED

Sean's sister, Jen, and her fiancée Joey, tied the knot on April 1st.
They chose to get married at the courthouse with her two kids and just parents as witnesses.
Afterwards, we all met up at Verrazano's for a celebratory dinner.

Congrats Jen and Joey! Wishing you many years of happiness together.

 

Mystery Reader

I am so behind on blogging. Only a few months on the actual blog but I am about three years behind on creating our yearly blog books. Hoping to catch up this summer.

First up, a backdated post from February. Kennedy's Pre-K class at St. Vincents invites parents to come in once a month and be "mystery readers." Myself and another mom signed up to do February. We chose a book and an art project to do with the class. Kennedy was thrilled to have me come work in her class and I look forward to volunteering a lot next year when she is in Kindergarten.

It was so fun and made me miss being in the classroom! A few photos from our fun morning.
